Abstract:
[Problem] To quickly charge by increasing the charging power of a battery while improving transmission efficiency. [Solution] A charging platform is provided with a power transmission coil (11) for supplying power to the power reception coil (51) of a device (50) with built-in battery, an alternating-current source (12) for supplying alternating-current power to the power transmission coil (11), and a case (20) on the upper surface of which is placed the device (50) with built-in battery. The alternating-current source (12) is provided with a frequency adjustment circuit (81) for adjusting the frequency of the alternate current supplied to the power transmission coil (11) and a control circuit (80) for controlling the frequency adjustment circuit (81). The control circuit (80) is provided with a charging power detection unit (83) for detecting the charging power for charging a battery (52), a transmission efficiency detection unit (84) for detecting the transmission efficiency for delivering power, and a computation unit (85) for controlling the frequency adjustment circuit (81) by computing the output frequency of the alternating-current source (12) from the charging power and the transmission efficiency. In the charging platform, the frequency of the alternate current supplied to the power transmission coil (11) is adjusted as a consequence of the computation unit (85) of the control circuit (80) controlling the frequency adjustment circuit (81) on the basis of both the transmission efficiency and the charging power of the device (50) with built-in battery.
