Abstract:
Disclosed is a charging system in which energy can be used at will, in which the amount of energy used can be adjusted, and which is capable of decreasing the initial investment in infrastructure. The disclosed charging system is provided with: one or more battery devices provided with a secondary cell internally; a charging device which performs contactless power transmission to a battery device; and a charge control device which controls the contactless transmission of power between the charging device and the battery devices. The battery devices are hexagonal pillars having a prescribed height and a bottom surface roughly in the shape of a regular hexagon, and the charging device is a hexagonal pillar having a prescribed height and a bottom surface roughly in the shape of a regular hexagon. By stacking a battery device on top of the charging device, the disclosed charging system performs contactless power transmission between the charging device and the battery device via control of the charging control device.
