Abstract:
The present invention provides a charging system capable of reducing a waiting time till a start of charging in charging facilities used for a plurality of vehicles to charge vehicle-mounted batteries.
A charging system is provided with: a charging unit for charging a storage battery mounted on a vehicle; a charging termination detection unit for detecting whether charging the storage battery by the charging unit is terminated or not; a stop detection unit for detecting whether or not the vehicle is stopped at a stop position where the vehicle should be stopped at a time of charging by the charging unit; and a time measurement unit for measuring a staying time, which is a predetermined time from the termination of charging a charge vehicle as the vehicle which is charged by the charging unit at the stop position until the vehicle is moved outside the stop position.
