Disclosed is a chatbot-based method for providing fishing information, the method being performed by a chatbot-based device for providing fishing information according to an embodiment of the present invention. In an embodiment, the method may comprise the steps of: providing a chatting interface to a user terminal; receiving a first message from the user terminal through the chatting interface; identifying a first attribute of at least one word that forms the first message and extracting first response content from pre-stored fishing information on the basis of the identified first attribute; generating a first transmission message on the basis of the extracted first response content, and providing the generated first transmission message to the user terminal through the first chatting interface; extracting at least one piece of second response content having a second attribute, which is at least partly different from the first attribute, from among the pre-stored fishing information; and generating a second transmission message on the basis of the extracted second response content, and providing the generated second transmission message to the user terminal through the chatting interface.
