Abstract:
A chemical-looping combustion method includes not only reducing and regenerating processes of oxygen carrier, but also a fuel reforming process. Through reforming reaction, the fuel is converted to H2 and CO, both have strong reducing ability for reducing the oxygen carrier. A chemical-looping combustion system comprises a chemical-looping combustion reactor, which has a recuperative heat exchanger structure with the first and the second flow passages. The method and the system can reduce the temperature required by the reducing reaction process, so as to expand the service life of the oxygen carrier and realize continuous heat supply.
