Abstract:
Provided according to an embodiment of the present invention is a chemical substance detection device comprising: a probe which can bind to a chemical substance in a sample; and a sensing unit which senses a detection signal generated from the probe, wherein the sensing unit senses a rate of change in the intensity of the detection signal, which is generated from the probe when the probe binds to the chemical substance in the sample, to determine the quantity of the chemical substance in the sample, and the rate of change in the intensity of the detection signal is measured before the reaction between the chemical substance and the probe reaches an equilibrium state.
