Abstract:
A child dummy, comprising a head (1), shoulder joints (2), a torso (3), upper legs (4), lower legs (5), upper arms (6), lower arms (7), hip joints (8), knee joints (9) and simulated skin (10). The head (1) is fixedly connected to the torso (3). The torso (3) is connected to the upper arms (6) by means of the shoulder joints (2). The torso (3) is connected to the upper legs (4) by means of the hip joints (8). The upper legs (4) are connected to the lower legs (5) by means of the knee joints (9). The upper arms (6) are connected to the lower arms (7). The simulated skin (10) is laid on the head (1), the torso (3), the upper legs (4), the lower legs (5), the upper arms (6) and the lower arms (7). The simulated skin (10) comprises an epidermal layer (101), a support layer (102) and a connection layer (103). A center-of-gravity adjustment mechanism is provided inside the torso (3). The present dummy has appearance characteristics, mass distribution characteristics and joint activity characteristics that match that of three-year-old children at the current stage, and may well reflect the actual biomechanical characteristics of children. Biomechanical assessment in the product safety evaluation for three-year-old children can be achieved according to ergonomic testing requirements, and three-dimensional motion track and human-machine interaction action force of three-year-old children during tripping or falling tests may be objectively and truly reproduced.
