This chilling unit is provided with: a machine room unit that is formed in a long box shape and houses a compressor and a heat exchanger therein; and a plurality of air heat exchangers that together with the compressor and the heat exchanger constitute a refrigerant circuit and are mounted on the top of the machine room unit. Of the plurality of air heat exchangers, a pair of the air heat exchangers disposed facing each other in the minor-axis direction of the machine room unit are disposed and inclined such that the interval between the upper ends located on the side farther from the machine room unit is greater than the interval between the lower ends located on the side closer to the machine room unit. A machine room panel that forms a lateral surface of the machine room unit in the minor-axis direction is provided with: a panel body that is positioned at the center portion of the machine room panel and that has heat insulation member fixed at a surface facing the inside of the machine room unit; and a fixed portion that is connected to a periphery of the panel body and is fixed in contact with the machine room unit. The panel body is disposed protruding toward the outside of the machine room unit relative to the fixed portion.
