Abstract:
A chip collecting device according to the present invention comprises: a sub-duct that receives, from a chip-receiving opening, chips of a tape material discharged from a tape feeder equipped with a component mounting device; a main duct connected to the sub-duct via a chip entry opening; and a plurality of air dischargers that discharge air into the main duct and send, to the air exit end of the main duct, chips that have moved from the sub-duct into the main duct via the chip entry opening. The plurality of air dischargers are provided in series in the direction in which the main duct extends, and the plurality of air dischargers discharge air sequentially to sequentially feed chips entering the main duct from the sub-duct toward the air exit end.
