Abstract:
The present invention relates to a chip counting method of a semiconductor tape reel for instantly and exactly counting the number of chips arranged on a tape reel, and a display system thereof, and provides a chip counting method of a semiconductor tape reel, comprising the steps of: inputting an identification code of a tape reel by using a reader unit; determining whether the identification code is registered in a database; scanning a planar image of the tape reel through an X-ray generation unit and a detection unit; calling a counting algorithm for the corresponding tape reel registered in the database so as to count the number of chips spirally arranged on the tape reel; and outputting the number of chips counted in the counting step through a counting display unit.
