Abstract:
This chip recovery system suctions and recovers chips (M1) using a suction unit, the chips (M1) being produced when the distal end of an electrode tip for spot welding is cut using a tip dresser. The suction unit is provided with an electric motor (6) that drives rotation, a centrifugal impeller (5) that rotates due to the electric motor (6) and produces suction force, and a chip recovery case (9) in which the chips (M1) can be recovered. The suction unit is configured such that chips (M1) moving together with air suctioned by the centrifugal impeller (5) are recovered in the chip recovery case (9).
