Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/250455
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a chord playing input device and an electronic musical instrument with which the kinds of chords that can be played can be increased as compared with the number of buttons and with which the ease of operation during playing can be improved. [Solution] An electronic musical instrument 1 is provided with: a chord playing input device 10; a sound generation unit 8 that generates sound for a chord; and a display unit 9 that displays an image. The chord playing input device 10 is provided with: a plurality of chord specifying buttons 3A to 3F to which chords including primary triads and secondary triads from I to VI are assigned individually; a chord changing button 4L to which a changing method for changing the status of chord assignment to the plurality of chord specifying buttons 3A to 3F is assigned; and a sound-generation-information generation unit that generates sound generation information for causing the sound generation unit 8 to generate sound for a chord corresponding to operations on the plurality of chord specifying buttons 3A to 3F and the chord changing button 4L. With the changing method assigned to the chord changing button 4L, the status of chord assignment is changed by switching between major and minor with the kind of chord constituting a chord.
