Abstract:
A chromatograph mass spectrometer according to one embodiment of this invention comprises a chromatograph unit (LC unit 1) for separating the components in a sample and a mass spectrometer (MS unit 2) for measuring ions of specific mass-to-charge ratios originating from the compounds separated temporally by the chromatograph unit. The chromatograph mass spectrometer comprises an analysis condition setting unit (30) for allowing a user to set, for each compound under measurement, analysis conditions comprising molecular-weight-related information and at least one mass-spectrometry-related parameter from among ionic polarity, adduct type, multimer polymerization degree, and ionic valence and an analysis method creation unit (31) for, for each compound under measurement, calculating mass-to-charge ratios for one or more types of ions according to the analysis conditions set using the analysis condition setting unit and creating an analysis method for carrying out mass analysis for the one or more types of ions at different points in time.
