Abstract:
Provided are: a chromogenic composition and a chromogenic curable composition which highly assume a color upon exposure to light and suffer little color fading after the coloring; and an on-press developable, lithographic printing plate precursor which highly assumes a color upon exposure to light, has high inspectability, and gives a lithographic printing plate having high printing durability. The chromogenic composition is characterized by comprising (A) a radical generator, (B) a compound represented by formula (1), and (C) a binder polymer. The chromogenic curable composition is characterized by further containing (E) a polymerizable compound. The lithographic printing plate precursor has an image-recording layer which comprises the chromogenic curable composition. (In the formula, R1 represents a group which reacts with a radical generated by the radical generator (A), is released, and then becomes a colorant; and T represents a nitrogenous heterocycle.)
