Abstract:
The purpose of the invention is to allow, even in situations in which visually readable information is not visible, acquisition of information corresponding to the information that is not visible. Provided is a chuck mechanism comprising a chuck body and a master jaw, wherein the chuck body has a mount face and a side face and the master jaw is provided on the mount face of the chuck body and is configured so as to be able to move in the radial direction of the chuck body. The mount face of the chuck body is furnished with a first marking. The first marking is product information about the chuck mechanism. The product information in the first marking is shown in a visually readable format. The mount face or the side face of the chuck body is furnished with a second marking. The second marking is information that includes at least the product information in the first marking. The information in the second marking is shown in a coded format.
