Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a cigarette package 10 that, while ensuring ease of extraction from the package, makes possible extraction from the package without touching a filter part F, which is placed in the mouth, with the fingers. [Solution] A cigarette package 10 for accommodating a plurality of rod-shaped cigarette products P, each comprising a filter part F and a tobacco rod part B joined to the filter part F, on the interior thereof in a vertical orientation with the filter parts F at the top, said cigarette package 10 being characterized by comprising a packaging body R packed with a bundle obtained by aligning the plurality of rod-shaped cigarette products P in close contact in the length direction, a box-shaped package body 12 that has an open upper end, and a lid member that is rotatably joined to the package body 12 by a hinge, wherein a front wall 60A of the package body 12 is provided with a cutout recessed part 34 that extends downward from the corresponding edge of the open upper end, the lower end edge 36 of the cutout recessed part 34 is provided to the interior of the cigarette package 10 at a height position corresponding to the tobacco rod parts B of the rod-shaped cigarette products that are accommodated in the packaging body R, the portion of the packaging body R facing the front wall 60A has perforations C transecting the portion facing the front wall 60A at a height position higher than the lower end edge 36; and when the cigarette package 10 is opened, by pulling the portion facing the front wall 60A upward, the part of the portion facing the front wall 60A that is upward of the perforations C is separated via the perforations C, and the tobacco rod portion B of one of the rod-shaped cigarette products P is exposed from the cutout recessed part 34.
