Abstract:
Provided is a circuit breaker which restricts excessive rotation by the other end of a thrust bar and is capable of alleviating faults with circuit breakers. The circuit breaker comprises: a contact point part (13); a handle (140) which is rotatably supported; a link mechanism (14), further comprising a thrust bar (143), one end of which is rotatably supported by the handle (140), and a hook part (A) which detachably hooks the other end of the thrust bar (143), said link mechanism (14) making and breaking contact between contact points according to the rotation of the handle (140); trip mechanisms (150, 151) which disengage the hook part (A) and open the contact point part (13) when abnormal current is sensed in the contact point part; and a handle spring (147), one end part (147b) thereof being locked on the device body (10), and which elastically impels the handle (140) toward the open position. A hook protrusion part (141d) applies force that causes the thrust bar (143) to rotate counterclockwise when tripped, and the other end part (147c) of the handle spring (147) is extended to the vicinity of the hook part (A), making contact with the other end of the thrust bar (143) and restricting the rotation of the thrust bar (143).
