Abstract:
In this circuit breaker, which is provided with an auxiliary cover that is coupled to a main cover via a hinge provided at the edge of a pocket that contains an ancillary device for a breaker mechanism, said hinge comprises the following: a plurality of bearings that protrude from the main cover and contain elongated holes that extend in the direction of the short side of the circuit breaker; notches, cut into the edge of the auxiliary cover at prescribed intervals, into which the respective bearings are inserted; pins that are provided in some of said notches and extend in the same direction as the elongated holes; and a thin section that forms part of the auxiliary cover.
