Abstract:
In this circuit breaker where a trip bar 33 is driven by an over-current tripping device to perform an interruption and the trip bar performs a reset operation mediated by the biasing force of a trip bar spring 35, action sites are formed at the forward extremity of the trip bar spring and between the forward extremity of the trip bar spring and the trip bar spring bearing point, said action sites being where the biasing force of the trip bar spring acts on the trip bar. In this manner, within the entirety of the trip bar operation range, up to a position where the tripping by the over-current tripping device has completed, there is no increase in the trip bar operation load, and in addition, after completion of the tripping, a large rotational moment can be obtained for the trip bar.
