Abstract:
The present invention involves a circuit structure for implementing real time predistortion calibration for broadband IQ modulation, comprising a baseband generation module, used such that according to the order of a predistortion filter and a calibration bandwidth, a calibration signal generator respectively produces two sine and cosine calibration signals in quadrature, and a data switch switches to a related data channel; a digital-to-analog conversion module, used for converting a signal into analog I and Q baseband signals; a frequency synthesizer module, used for generating a signal within a certain frequency range; an IQ modulation module, used for performing mixing on the analog baseband signals and a local oscillator signal; and an amplitude control module, used for performing continuous adjustment on a radio frequency signal power; The present invention further involves a method for implementing real time predistortion calibration processing for broadband IQ modulation. In utilizing the circuit structure and method for implementing real time predistortion calibration for broadband IQ modulation of the present invention, a calibration process can be completed locally and in real time, solving the problem of frequency response error correction caused by a change in hardware circuit performance, and thereby allowing for real time on-site completion of frequency response automated predistortion calibration.
