Abstract:
The present invention discloses a novel circular lighting device having LEDs mounted therein, in which multiple light-emitting diodes (LEDs) are provided in a ring shape and dissipation fins are formed along the back surface of the portion in which the LEDs are mounted such that heat generated when the LEDs are turned on can be rapidly discharged to the outside, and a light-transmitting cover, which transmits the light generated by the LEDs, can be conveniently mounted and separated so as to significantly improve repair workability and substantially expand the range of applications of the product by enabling the product to be hung from a ceiling or directly attached to and installed on a wall. The present invention includes: a frame which is formed so as to have a ring shape, on the surface of which a light source mounting surface for mounting multiple light sources is provided, and on the back surface of which multiple rows of said dissipation fins are integrally formed in an irregularly curved shape, wherein multiple grooves are formed along both edges of the light source mounting surface; said plurality of LEDs, which are mounted on the light source mounting surface of the frame so as to be electrically connected to a printed circuit board, and which are turned on when an electric current is applied; said light-transmitting cover, which enables the light generated when the LEDs are turned on to be transmitted and radiated when covering the light source mounting surface of the frame, and which is coupled therewith and provided with multiple steps along both edges thereof so as to be inserted into and hooked onto the grooves formed on the light source mounting surface; and a power supply unit, which is connected to the frame via multiple supports when arranged in the inner central portion of the frame or in the upper portion of the inner central portion, and which is provided with a stabilizer or AC/DC converter component therein so as to supply the LEDs with optimal electric current converted from the electric current applied from the outside.
