A circulating pump and a clearance control method therefor. The circulating pump comprises a pump body (1), a driving shaft (11), a driven shaft (12), a driving gear (13), a driven gear (14), and a rotor (15). The rotor (15) comprises a driving rotor and a driven rotor. An input hole and an output hole are formed on two sides of the pump body (1). One side of an input end cover is a fixed end, and one side of an output end cover is a floating end. The driving shaft (11) and the driven shaft (12) are provided in the pump body (1). The rotor (15) is provided in a cavity in the pump body (1). The driving gear (13) and the driving rotor are fixedly mounted on the driving shaft (11). The driven gear (14) and the driven rotor are fixedly mounted on the driven shaft (12). The driving gear (13) and the driven gear (14) are meshed with each other. A heat conduction assembly (17) attached to the shape of the pump body (1) is provided on the inner surface or the outer surface of the pump body (1). According to the circulating pump, reasonable control over the clearance can be achieved, the pressure rise of the circulating pump is effectively improved, the efficiency is improved, and the service life of the circulating pump is prolonged.
