Abstract:
A clamping arrangement to a device for driving into the ground lengthy rod elements of a low rigidity comprises a casing (1) with a through conical hollow (2) and with protrusions (7) on its external surface. Two wedging spring-loaded elements (3) with slots (4) are mounted inside the hollow (2). The ends of levers (9) fixed on the protrusions (7) are mounted inside the slots (4). A washer (14) is placed between the spring (12) and the wedging elements (3). The butt-end surfaces (16, 17) of the wedging elements (3) and of the washer (14) are made conical. The contacting surfaces (10, 11) of the slots (4) and levers (9) are inclined in relation to the axis of the clamping arrangement.
