Title:
CLAMPING DEVICE FOR MAINTAINING MEASUREMENT PIPING IN NUCLEAR REACTOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/111574
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a clamping device for maintaining measurement piping in nuclear reactors, the device being capable of easily accomplishing the work of securely fixing measurement piping, which is disposed in a very cramped space, to the diffuser by remote control from just above the reactor core. The clamping device comprises a first clamping mechanism and a second clamping mechanism. The first clamping mechanism has: multiple clamps that clamp the measurement piping; multiple first clamp-operating bolts that can be rotated by remote control from just above the reactor core; and a wedge mechanism, which converts the rotation of said clamp-operating bolts into movement of the multiple clamps in the radial direction of the diffuser and generates a clamping force that secures the measurement piping. The second clamping mechanism has: support clamps for clamping the support; a second clamp-operating bolt that can be rotated by remote control from just above the reactor core; and a wedge mechanism, which converts the rotation of the second clamp-operating bolt into movement of said support clamps in the tangential direction of the diffuser and generates a clamping force that secures the support.
