Abstract:
A class D amplifier is provided with a signal inverter (3) for generating an inverted signal inverting an input signal from a signal source (1); a first pulse width modulator (4) for applying pulse width modulation to the input signal from the signal source (1); a second pulse width modulator (5) for applying pulse width modulation to the inverted signal; a first lowpass filter (6) for passing only the low frequency component of the pulse width modulated signal from the first pulse width modulator (4); and a second lowpass filter (7) for passing only the low frequency component of the pulse width modulated signal from the second pulse width modulator (5); wherein the signal from the first lowpass filter (6) and the signal from the second lowpass filter (7) are output to a load (8).
