Title:
CLEANER FOR SPINNING MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/1990/005205
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This invention relates to a cleaner for a spinning machine in which fly waste or the like is deposited onto a suction net disposed in such a manner as to cover suction openings by the action of suction air generated by the rotation of rotary vane wheels disposed inside a duct equipped with the suction openings, and is then removed by suitable means from the suction net. An object of the present invention is to provide a cleaner for a spinning machine capable of reducing power consumption when a machine bed is long as a result of an increase in the number of spindles. A large number of rotary vane wheels to be disposed inside the duct are disposed along the full length of the duct and each rotary vane wheel is fixed integrally and rotatably to a line shaft which extends through the center of each vane wheel and is driven for rotation by driving means. An endless suction net is circulated in such a manner as to cover the openings, and means for removing the fly waste or the like deposited on the suction net by mechanical action therefrom and means for recovering the fly waste or the like removed by the removing means are disposed at the circulation end portion of the net.
