Abstract:
A cleaning device comprising: a cleaning member; a container; a conveying screw having a blade for conveying toner inside the container to the outside of the container; and a breaking member which extends along the direction of a rotation axis of the conveying screw, oscillates about a turning axis along the rotation axis in a direction crossing the rotation axis, and thereby breaks the toner on the wall surface of the container provided around the conveying screw, wherein the breaking member comprises an abutting part which, when the conveying screw is located within a predetermined phase range, abuts on the blade and turns the breaking member in a first direction with the rotation of the conveying screw, and a biasing part which applies force for turning the breaking member in a second direction opposite to the first direction to the breaking member.
