Abstract:
A cleaning member (1) having a sheet structure (4) provided with a base-material sheet (3), and a fiber bonded body (2) joined to the base-material sheet (3) and having the structure of a plurality of bundled fibers, an insertion space (7) into which a support carrier (27) for supporting the sheet structure (4) can be inserted also being provided to the sheet structure (4), wherein the base-material sheet (3) is formed into a cylinder to form a space (8) therein, the space (8) opening on at least one end surface (5) of the base-material sheet (3) and forming the insertion space (7). The fiber bonded body (2), via the cleaning member (1) joined to the outer peripheral surface of the base-material sheet (3), minimizes the problems regarding efficient use of all of the fibers during cleaning and the problem of increased manufacturing cost, and also adequately picks up dust and dirt.
