Abstract:
A cleansing composition according to the present invention comprises (A) a sugar ester of a fatty acid, (B) at least one anionic surfactant selected from an amino acid-based surfactant and a taurine-based surfactant, (C) at least one polyglycerol fatty acid diester or polyglycerol fatty acid triester having an HLB value of 13 or less, (D) at least one polyglycerol fatty acid monoester having an HLB value of 11 or more, (E) an oil having a liquid form or a pasty (non-solid) form at ambient temperature, (F) a polyol, and (G) water. The ratio of the mass of the component (E) relative to the total mass of the components (C) and (D), i.e., (E)/((C)+(D)), is 10 to 100, the ratio of the mass content of the component (C) to that of the component (D), i.e., (C)/(D), is 0.1 to 10, and the ratio of the total mass of the components (C) and (D) to the mass of the component (A), i.e., ((C)+(D))/(A), is 0.02 to 4.
