Abstract:
A local clock skew correction device of the present invention is a client device which is synchronized with a counterpart client device so as to provide a time-aware service, and comprises: a local time providing unit for providing first local clock data and second local clock data according to a local clock; a media scheduling unit for receiving first media data and second media data from the counterpart client device, scheduling a first playback time point of the first media data by using the first local clock data, and scheduling a second playback time point of the second media data by using the second local clock data; and a skew monitoring unit for requesting a global time server for global time data when the difference between the first playback time point and the second playback time point exceeds a skew threshold, wherein the first media data and the second media data are different types of media data.
