Abstract:
Disclosed in the present application are a climbing apparatus and a climbing system. The climbing apparatus comprises a vehicle body assembly and a control assembly; the vehicle body assembly comprises a vehicle main body and a pedal assembly, the pedal assembly being connected to the vehicle main body; the control assembly is arranged on the vehicle main body and comprises a fall-arrest device and an auxiliary guide assembly; the fall-arrest device comprises an overspeed governor and a fall-arrest gear, the overspeed governor being connected to the fall-arrest gear; the auxiliary guide assembly is used for cooperating with a guide body, so as to guide the movement of the vehicle body assembly along the guide body; when the climbing apparatus stalls and descends, the fall-arrest gear is used to be limited by the overspeed governor in terms of meshed rolling relative to a rack portion on the guide body, so as to lock the climbing apparatus.
