Abstract:
This clip for fastening an outer cover makes it possible for an outer cover, which covers a foamed body while being held by the foamed body, to be restrained on the foamed body-side by the fastening of a part to be fastened provided on the outer cover underside, wherein the clip for fastening an outer cover comprises a base that is held by the foamed body, a pair of projecting walls erected so as to oppose the base, and fastening parts that extend in the width direction of the projecting walls from side portions of the projecting walls and that are capable of sliding in a direction substantially parallel to the base or the horizontal direction, the clip being configured such that the part to be fastened is sandwiched in between the fastening parts and is elastically fastened. Due to this configuration, since the fastening part bends in the horizontal direction towards the base, the overall height of the clip can be designed to be low, and a greater degree of freedom is achieved relative to the size of the foamed body and the shape of the groove etc. for disposing the clip provided on the foamed body-side.
