Abstract:
Provided are clip-on glasses to be fastened to another pair of eyeglasses (600). The clip-on glasses comprise an elastic cross member (400), two lenses (200), and two hooks (500). The two hooks (500) are fixedly provided at inner sides of the two lenses (200), respectively, and comprise a first hook portion (510) and a second hook portion (520). The first hook portion (510) is provided at an upper region of the lenses (200) at the inner side thereof, and firmly hooks around an upper side of the other pair of glasses (600). The second hook portion (520) is provided at a side region of the lenses (200) at the inner side thereof, and firmly hooks around a side edge of the other pair of glasses (600). The elastic cross member (400) is connected between the two lenses (200), and is tensioned so as to pull the two lenses (200) toward each other, such that each second hook portion (520) of the two hooks (500) can firmly hook around the side of the other pair of glasses (600). Providing hooks (500) at the inner side of the lenses (200) of the clip-on glasses eliminates the restrictions imposed on the lenses (200) by conventional eyeglass frames (100), thereby enabling the shape and size of the lenses (200) to be freely designed according to user requirements. The invention can thus improve the appearance of the clip-on glasses when fastened to another pair of glasses (600), without increasing manufacturing difficulties, fitting difficulties, or the cost of eyeglass frames (100).
