Abstract:
A clip (11) and a tether clip (11) of a pillar garnish attaching structure (1) are provided with an axis portion (21) and a pair of opposite lock nails (31). Each of the lock nails (31) is linked to the axis portion (21) via a link portion (41). At a pair of axle portion positions (21a) perpendicular to the opposing direction of the pair of lock nails (31), a deformation promoting portion (53) is disposed. Even when the thickness of the link portion (41) is increased to increase the nail strength, the link portion (41) is warped in a direction approaching a clip center axis (11a), allowing the lock nails (31) to be inserted into a clip attaching hole (93). As a result, both strength and serviceability of the lock nails (31) can be achieved. Further, because a virtual rotational deformation center (Rc) of the lock nails (31) is moved to the side farther from a seat portion (25), excess pushing amount (h) and spring seat engaging load (F) can be decreased, whereby assembly workability, assembly reliability, and wobbliness can be improved.
