Abstract:
Provided are a clip, which is capable of resisting pull-out from a mounting hole when a transverse load acts thereon even if the mounting hole diameter is small, and a glass-fixing method for temporarily fixing glass to a window frame. The clip (10) is provided with a head section (20) and a leg section (30). The leg section (30) comprises a first pair of opposing pillar sections (31, 31) that extend from the back surface of the head section across a specified gap (32) and second pair of opposing pillar sections (40, 40) that are extended so as to face each other and be orthogonal to the first opposing pillar sections. An elastic engaging tab (36) is provided on the outside of each of the first opposing pillar sections (31) for engaging with the back side of the mounting hole. A rib (47) protrudes from the inside of each of the second opposing pillar sections (40) with a length that reaches the gap (32) between the first pair of opposing pillar sections. The clip is configured so that when a first opposing pillar section (31) is bent toward the inside of the leg section, the pillar section abuts against the ribs (47) and the amount of bending is limited.
