A clothes dryer and a lint separation apparatus thereof. The lint separation apparatus comprises a first air duct (4) used for filtering lint, and a second air duct (5) used for guiding and discharging the lint filtered in the first air duct (4). A sieve plate and a cleaning apparatus which is used for cleaning the sieve plate are provided in the first air duct (4). The cleaning apparatus comprises a rotating part (1) that penetrates the first air duct (4) parallel to the sieve plate and is rotatably connected to the first air duct (4), and vibrating parts (2) arranged on the rotating part (1) for use in enabling the sieve plate to vibrate. The lint separation apparatus further comprises third air ducts (6) arranged on two sides of the first air duct (4). The cleaning apparatus further comprises driving parts (3) connected to the rotating part (1) and arranged in the third air ducts (6). The driving parts (3) are wind wheels.
