Abstract:
The disclosed clothing dryer comprises a lint filter unit positioned at an upstream-side of a heat exchanger and filtering lint from warm air. A unit body is provided with an intermediate path connected to a blowing path and an opening through which a part of the intermediate path is opened. A lint filter is disposed at the intermediate path to filter off lint contained in the warm air. A filter cleaning mechanism can be relatively moved with respect to the lint filter to scrape off lint attached to the lint filter. The cover blocks movement of the filter cleaning mechanism when the cover is located at a closing position for closing the opening. The cover allows movement of the filter cleaning mechanism when the cover is located at an opening position for opening the opening.
