Abstract:
A clothing management apparatus and a control method therefor are provided. The clothing management apparatus comprises: a receiving chamber for receiving an object; a heat pump device that includes at least one of a compressor, a condenser, an expansion device, and an evaporator, and a refrigerant pipe through which a refrigerant circulates and that dehumidifies and heats air circulating in the receiving chamber; and a condensation water collection device that collects condensed water generated from the heat pump device and has a storage space in which the collected condensation water is stored, wherein on the basis of the driving course for managing the object, in order to allow the refrigerant circulating in the refrigerant pipe to pass through a part of the refrigerant pipe at a high temperature to evaporate the condensation water stored in the storage space, the part of the refrigerant pipe passes through the storage space.
