Abstract:
Disclosed is a clothing treatment apparatus. The clothing treatment apparatus of the present disclosure comprises: a tub; a drum which extends in the form of a cylinder, is opened upward, and is rotatably arranged in the tub; a balancer which is fixed on the upper part of the drum, extends along the circumference of the drum, and provides a passage that is in communication with an internal space of the drum; and a chamber which is formed in the balancer and extends along the balancer. The chamber includes: a first chamber constituting the lower side part of the chamber; and a second chamber constituting the upper side part of the chamber. The width of the first chamber is greater than the width of the second chamber.
