Abstract:
A clothing treatment apparatus (100) is for removing a stain and the like from a treatment target object such as clothing. The clothing treatment apparatus (100) is provided with: a moisture supply device (4) that supplies moisture to the treatment target object; and a suction device (5) that suctions air together with moisture attached to the treatment target object. Further, the suction device (5) includes: a drainage tank that serves as a trap for separating the moisture from the air suctioned together with the moisture; and a drawing suppression part that suppresses drawing of the treatment target object into the suction device (5).
