Abstract:
The present invention relates to a clothing treatment device and a control method thereof, wherein in cases where the power supply to the clothing treatment device is resumed after being terminated, or the course of the clothing treatment device has been changed or a course is resumed after a pause, the process of re-detecting the amount of laundry may be omitted if the door of the clothing treatment device has not been opened and closed and a record detecting the prior amount of laundry is stored in a storage unit.
