Abstract:
Provided is a coagulation aid that includes modified inorganic substance obtained by modifying, by means of a silane coupling agent, sericite and one or a plurality of inorganic substances selected from montmorillonite, bentonite, titanium oxide pigment, and baked vermiculite. By doing so, in grease-trap waste water treatment in which an inorganic substance such as a mineral is utilized, it is possible to achieve a further reduction of normal hexane extracts in waste water and to suppress excessive water absorption by the inorganic substance.
