Abstract:
The present invention relates to a surface treatment method for an electrical steel sheet comprising the steps of: preparing an electrical steel sheet having a plating layer comprising aluminum on at least one surface; forming a magnesium coating layer by means of vacuum evaporating magnesium on the plating layer; and heat treating the electrical steel sheet having the aluminum plating layer and the magnesium coating layer at 750-950°C. According to the present invention, a uniform magnesium oxide (MgO) layer is formed on an aluminum-silicon-plated electrical steel sheet and thus a plated electrical steel sheet having insulation is provided. Therefore, a highly efficient electrical steel sheet is applied to an electrical device and can contribute to energy saving, device size reduction and the like.
