A coated steel sheet having excellent press formability is provided. The coated steel sheet comprises a base steel sheet and a coating film disposed on at least one surface of the base steel sheet and including an organic resin and a wax, wherein the organic resin is at least one resin selected from the group consisting of acrylic resins, epoxy resins, urethane resins, phenolic resins, vinyl-acetate-based resins, and polyester resins, the wax is a polyolefin wax having a melting point of 100-145°C and an average particle diameter of 3.0 μm or less, the coating film has a specific wax distribution, and the coating film on the surface is adherent in an amount of 0.3 g/m2 or larger.
