Abstract:
The invention relates to a coated substrate comprising a metallic surface impression which is obtained by a method wherein (a) at least one base layer of varnish is applied to the surface of the substrate, (b) the at least one base layer of varnish is dried thoroughly after being applied, (c) a corrosive optical layer is applied, (d) the substrate coated according to steps (a), (b) and (c) is heated, and finally, (e) at least one protective layer of varnish is applied. The corrosive optical layer is a metallic layer and/or the whole method is carried out at temperatures below 120 DEG C.
