Abstract:
A coated tool according to one non-limiting aspect of the present disclosure is provided with a base body and a coating layer located on the surface of the base body, in which the base body has a film adhesive phase containing Co and at least one metal compound selected from a carbide, a nitride and a carbonitride each containing Ti and W, and the film adhesive phase is located at the interface between the base body and the coating layer. A cutting tool according to one non-limiting aspect of the present disclosure is provided with: a holder that extends from a first end toward a second end and has a pocket on the first end side; and the above-mentioned coated tool that is located in the pocket.
