Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a coating composition which is used for coating the inner surface of food cans, especially beverage cans, and which exhibits excellent coating film workability, whereby it is not only possible to inhibit the coating film from crystallizing causing workability to deteriorate but also to inhibit internal stress and to stretch the coating film. [Solution] A thermosetting resin composition and a can inner surface coating metal material characterized by containing 1 to 100 parts by weight of a resol-type phenolic resin (C) per 100 parts by weight of a polyester resin composition in which the weight ratio of a polyester resin (A) having a glass transition temperature (hereinafter referred to as Tg) of 0°C or higher and a polyester resin (B) having a Tg of less than 0°C is between 95/5 and 60/40 when (A)/(B).
