Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a coating composition that can defog a base material that is fogged by a fogging phenomenon more rapidly and can retain higher transparency of a coating film compared with the conventional techniques. The coating composition comprises: silica microparticles (15) having an average particle diameter of 3 nm to 25 nm inclusive; metal oxide microparticles (17); a solvent having a boiling point of 150°C to 300°C inclusive; and water. The content of the silica microparticles (15) is 0.1% by mass to 5% by mass inclusive. The content of the solvent is 20% by mass to 70% by mass inclusive.
