Abstract:
Disclosed is a coating cutting tool. The coating cutting tool comprises a cutting tool base (1) and a wear-resistant coating (2) applied on the cutting tool base. The wear-resistant coating (2) at least comprises an AlxTi1-xN1-y-zCyOz coating (4), wherein 0.45 ≤ x ≤ 0.98, 0 < y ≤ 0.2, 0 < z ≤ 0.18, and in any cross-section, perpendicular to the surface of the cutting tool base (1), in the AlxTi1-xN1-y-zCyOz coating (4), in a growth direction of the AlxTi1-xN1-y-zCyOz coating (4), the atomic fractions of Al, Ti, and O elements in the AlxTi1-xN1-y-zCyOz coating (4) have a periodic change. The coating cutting tool in the present invention has excellent wear resistance and is suitable for efficient machining of difficult-to-machine materials such as cast iron, stainless steel, and high-temperature alloys.
