Abstract:
Provided is a glass plate having, formed thereon, a coating film capable of decreasing the transmissivity of light having a wavelength of around 400 nm while preventing the yellowish discoloration of the glass plate. The glass plate is a coating film-attached glass plate in which a coating film 2 formed on the main surface of a glass plate 1 contains silicon oxide that is the main component and an organic compound A that is an additive capable of imparting an ultraviolet ray absorbing ability. The organic compound A has a molecular structure containing a 2-phenylbenzotriazole backbone and at least one thio organic group linked to the backbone. The thio organic group is a group represented by the formula: -S-R wherein R represents an organic group.
